#PCAFConsultation | The National Sectoral Committee on Coconut held its second quarter meeting on June 4, 2025, with the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) updating stakeholders on key initiatives to support coconut farmers.Notably, PCA affirmed its support for a hotline system to report illegal coconut tree cutting — suggesting regional hotlines for faster response.“I would like to suggest that this [hotline for reporting illegal coconut tree cutting] be done by region, not only a central one. We can provide that, not only a one-for-all hotline, it can be designated by region and down to provinces.
